Pediatric Speech Therapy (0-18)
Speech Sound Disorders
Also known as articulation, phonological, or anatomical differences that influence speech sounds and clarity.
I focus on functional, meaningful communication -- no drills and word lists.
Neurodivergent Communication
Communicative support for children who may be misunderstood due to their brain differences.
My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and not about forcing conformity.
Early Intervention (0-3)
Experience working with the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) to provide treatment and evaluate children who show early signs of communicative difficulties.
Parent/Caregiver Education
This is always a huge part of my treatment plan -
most of the work is done at home! I have experience with parent education and as a lecturer at San Jose State University for Childhood Language Disorders.

Aphasia
Social Communication
Teaching expected behaviors to inform neurodivergent people not to make them conform.
Finding ways to help clients reach their social goals in a way that works for them.
Accent Modification
Supporting meaningful, functional communication for people with aphasia and their families using the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA).
Broca's, Wernicke's, Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA), etc.
Empowering the voices
of people with aphasia
Teaching non-native language speech sounds with the context of the native speaker's phonemes. Accents are differences, not disorders, but when addressed can build confidence and independence.
